MEET Your Tutor
Hi! I'm Kelly. I love camping, hiking, art, baking, and helping kids accomplish their goals.
My education includes a Master's in Education (2015) and Bachelor's degrees in both Developmental Psychology and Elementary Education (2006). Additionally, I hold a Professional Teaching License through the Colorado Department of Education for grades K-6 with a READ Act designation. I have a basic certificate in Orton-Gillingham instruction and continue developing as a teacher through voluntary PD opportunities, research, and networking.
I work with students of all ages and firmly believe that every child is capable and deserving of experiencing success for themselves and love to guide them on that journey!

The first step toward success is completing an intake form with and about your child, his/her needs and learning styles, and days/times that work best for you. We will decide which modality works best - in-person or distance - and whether a 30- or 60-minute session is more beneficial. Then, we get you on the calendar!
Prior to your first session, you will receive a Welcome Letter with a reminder of your time slot and everything else you need to know.
At the first session, we will review and sign a contract detailing the responsibilities of and defining expected and acceptable behaviors from each party.
Goals and instructional methods will be modified and updated as needed and periodic Progress Reports will be provided. So what are you waiting for? Contact me today!
